IQ is known in research as a predictor of job performance in more complex jobs. The Wonderlic test are timed 12 minute tests that test two sub-functions of IQ, Numerical reasoning and Verbal reasoning. From these scores an estimate of IQ can be obtained. Is used in conjunction with other tests.
These tests are a performance test which differs from self report personality tests. This is also true for the MSCEIT emotional intelligence tests and performance test are often used in applicant screening. Performance tests are less open to self report bias
